Comfort Series

A step up in available efficiency.

Consider this series when you want a conventional system with a higher available efficiency rating than the Essential family. The complete equipment match determines your actual rating.

Up to 16 SEER2 / 8.2 HSPF2 — product-family maximums. The rating of your installed combination depends on the exact matched equipment.

Every home and installation is different. System pricing varies by equipment size, model, and installation requirements. Contact StayCool for a personalized estimate.

Complete equipment match

Outdoor family: DH5SE (R-32). Proposed indoor family: DMVT or DFVE, only where approved for the selected outdoor model. Confirm the exact air handler, controls, AHRI match, and any heat kit.

Full outdoor, indoor and coil models; capacity; AHRI certificate and matched ratings: to be confirmed in your written proposal. No size-specific match is implied here.

Thermostat and accessories: not confirmed as included. Your proposal must itemize controls, heat kit, filtration, surge protection, drain safeties and other accessories actually included.

StayCool labor

5 years is the stated StayCool labor term for Comfort. Labor is separate from manufacturer parts and replacement coverage. Review the written StayCool labor agreement for covered work, exclusions and conditions.

Manufacturer protection

The DH5SE outdoor family advertises 12-year parts limited coverage for eligible registered equipment. Advertised extended coverage in Texas requires registration within 60 days of installation; the applicable certificate controls.

6-year conditional outdoor unit replacement: a qualifying compressor failure may allow a one-time covered outdoor unit replacement, subject to the certificate. Requirements include a new properly matched indoor coil or air handler, annual service by a licensed contractor and retained records. Changes needed to accommodate replacement equipment may remain the customer's expense.

Parts coverage does not automatically include labor, refrigerant, freight or modifications. Indoor equipment, coil, furnace and controls have separate applicable certificates.

Compare complete matched systems, airflow and your home's needs before choosing.
